F-86 Sabre - Nostalgic Flights

Based out of Morristown, Indiana, Nostalgic Flights brings the wonder of warbirds to air show fans across the country. At the Fort Wayne Air Show, they will be bringing their F-86 Sabre.

The F-86 Sabre is America’s first swept-wing fighter jet. It debuted in October 1947 and went on to set a new world speed record at 670 MPH. The F-86 mainly saw action during the Korean War, going head-to-head with the MiG-15. Thanks to the pilots’ training and incredible capabilities of the F-86, at the end of the conflict 792 MiGs had been shot down.
